The Water Authority is responsible for providing water to the Borough of Hughesville, as well as, surrounding areas lying in Wolf Township.
 
All owners of "improved" properties whose property line is within 150 feet of any street or alley in which there is a water main shall connect to the water system.
 
If your property is not in one of these areas, you will need to provide your own source of water through a spring or well.
